Concluded the awards ceremony of the eighth edition

the eighth edition of the National Poetry Competition "City of St. Anastasia" was successfully concluded today, Saturday, May 8, 2010, in the Library G. Siani Via Arco. Also present was the new Mayor of St. Anastasia, Carmine Esposito, who greeted and awarded the two winners of Section A and Section B.
After the greetings of the President's Club Meeting, Angela Maria Spadaro, Raffaele Urraro entertained the large audience present in the room talking about poetry in general and the difficulties of its distribution, calling for further growth of our poetry competition, already worthy of wide recognition at national level.
Vetromile Joseph then led the event, calling the signals and the winners of the four competition sections to read their respective poems. We remember the winning authors: 1 Polvani Paolo Barletta, 2 ° Benito Galilee of Rome, 3rd Ivano Mugnaini di Lucca. Special Prize offered by Naples Cultural Classic Anna Bruno Lucianna Argentino, Rome; Special Award Lions Club International Humanitarian Executive Committee citizenship offered by the architect. Giacomo De Marco Vitale gemmis of Naples. For the section dedicated to the environment and the Vesuvius area, 1 st prize in Rossella Luongo of Avellino, 2nd prize Roberta Maresca in the Vico Equense. Francesco Iannone of Fisciano deserved the 1st prize in the "young" and Domenico Cassese Palma Campania for the 1st prize in the section "local authority".
A certificate of participation was awarded to some authors of Naples and the Vesuvius area.
For the jury were present, besides the aforementioned Urraro Raffaele, Gerardo Santella, Bruno and Anna Luisa Della Porta. Absent for family reasons the other two members of the jury: Scarlett and Storm Cyrus Carfora. Present and past of some members of the new administration, associations, journalists, friends and socio-cultural (SPI CGIL, Federcasalinghe Federconsumatori, Pro Loco of St. Anastasia, Social Centre for Elderly Lady Arc).
The ceremony ended at 19.30 with a greeting and a goodbye Vetromile Joseph's in its ninth year.
